EL CHORRO El Chorro is a sport and trad climbing mecca in Spain. In 2004 it was partly closed when it became forbidden to use the railway tunnels to approach the climbing crags.

SULITJELMA (under re-construction) A very beautiful norwegian mountain area that is located near the swedish border. The glacier surrounding the mountain Suliskongen is worth a visit.
TROMS (under re-construction) A northern mountain area in Norway. I've only passed here once, that was in 1995 while making a 1,000 kilometers hike through Scandinavia.
KEBNEKAISE (under re-construction) Kebnekaise is the highest and most famous mountain in Sweden. This photo gallery include a wide area surrounding Kebnekaise.
SAREK (under re-construction) By many outdoor enthusiasts, this national park is ofted described is the last true wilderness in western Europe. No huts, no marked trails, no population. This is a great place for adventure.
PADJELANTA (under re-construction) The neighbour between Sarek and Sulitjelma. This is a rather flat and large mountain area with a large lake called Virrihaure.
STORA SJÖFALLET (under re-construction) North of Sarek and Padjelanta, you'll find this area that often is passed through when heading for either of the two great national parks mentioned above.
ARJEPLOG (under re-construction) A large and seldom visited mountain area. It is more famous among the anglers than the mountain hikers. If you want to feel real solitudeness, this is a place where you can find it!
VINDELFJÄLLEN (under re-construction) The Vindel mountains is the western neighbour of Arjeplog. This is also the place where you'll find the start, or if you like it - the end of the Kings trail.
HELAGS (under re-construction) A small and easy accessed mountain in the southern mountain area of Sweden.
KUNGSLEDEN (under re-construction) The largest and most famous hiking trail in Scandinavia, it runs from Hemavan in the south to Abisko in the north. A very nice and easy hiking trail that sadly often is overcrowded during the high summer season.
