Some climbers are better than others. Here you find a collection of some of the men and women that pushed the limits further and further for the next generations. Some where laughed at by fellow climbers, today nobody laugh at them no more.

A legend among many climbers, by taking enormous risks Hermann Buhl succeeded where others failed.
KURT DIEMBERGER

The only person alive that have made two first ascents on mountains above 8,000 metres. Broad Peak (1957) and Dhaulagiri (1960).

WANDA RUTKIEWICZ

In 1981, despite a broken leg, she set out for K2 on crutches. Only when she reached the Broad Peak base camp did she realise she had come too far.
JERZY KUKUCZKA

On his pursiut to climb all 14 8,000 meter mountains, he made nine new routes, including one solo.
